Yurendell de Caster and Ray Sadler were not going to allow the Winnipeg Goldeyes to be eliminated quite yet. De Caster hit a three-run homer to tie the game in the fifth inning and then Sadler doubled home Ryan Scoma with the winning run, as the Winnipeg Goldeyes beat the St. Paul Saints 5-4 in front of 6,037 at Shaw Park on Friday night. Sadler was the hitting star with a double, his 20th homer of the year, a run scored and two RBI, while de Caster had a homer and three runs batted in. Mark Hardy (7-3, 3.48 ERA) was the winning pitcher in relief while Kissock got his first save of the year. MacKenzie King (3-3, 4.05 ERA) took the loss for St. Paul.
