According to a report from the Detroit Free Press, former Detroit Red Wings forward Daniel Cleary will be signing with the Philadelphia Flyers. The report states Cleary will sign for three years with an annual average salary of $2.75 million. The deal, which will include a no trade clause, will not be made official until the end of the month. The two sides have agreed to a Professional Tryout with Cleary reporting to training camp on Wednesday and according to TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun of ESPN.com, if all goes well, hell sign with the Flyers. TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger added that some cap management by the Flyers will be required before the deal can be done.
