Baseball is considered one of the most superstitious sports, and heading into Game 7 of the World Series, you bet all fans, players and coaches arent taking any risks by switching up their routines. Stitched Adidas NHL Jerseys . Whether its parking your car in the same spot for a week, not washing your lucky jersey or that special handshake you have to do every time your favorite player walks to the plate, weve all done it.?Especially for the said cursed Chicago Cubs, now isnt the time to take chances. As such, it should come as no surprise that one of those sticking to routine is Cubs manager Joe Maddon.?Ahead of Game 6, Maddon told reporters?that he has a special memento he carries in his bag everywhere he goes: his fathers Los Angeles Angels hat. When asked if he noticed any omens before the game, he said, Omens, I dont know. I did see my dads hat in my bag today. I carry my dads hat with me.He passed away in 2002, we won the World Series, and Ive had his old Angel hat in my bag since then. So it goes everywhere. So the one thing Im relying on today is my dad. I held onto his hat a little bit this morning, and thats probably the omen, in a sense, going into this game.Call it an omen, call it a superstition, but no matter what you call it, you cant deny its something that works for Maddon, considering it was there when the Angels won the World Series in 2002 while he was bench coach for the team. Not to mention, it was there for the Cubs Game 6 win over the Cleveland Indians?on Tuesday. At a time like this, for Maddon, that hat better be within arms reach.-- Courtney Schellin Adidas NHL Jerseys Autographed . President of baseball operations Larry Beinfest was fired Friday after 12 years with the Marlins. The move came as the team neared the end of its third consecutive last-place season in the NL East. Canada is now down to its 22-player limit, although but players wont be registered until Christmas Day. Changes could still be made as a result of a suspension or injury. MILWAUKEE -- The Toronto Raptors wrap up a five-game road trip Friday night when they face the Milwaukee Bucks at the Bradley Center, where they have won their last five meetings with the Bucks.Overall, the Raptors have won 10 of the last 11 meetings with the Bucks, including all four contests last season. DeMar DeRozan appeared in there of those games and averaged 21.3 points on 50 percent (22-for-44) shooting.DeRozan scored 24 points and grabbed five rebounds and nine assists in the Raptors last game, a 115-102 victory at Houston Wednesday that snapped a two-game losing streak.Sixteen of those points came in the third quarter, including one stretch when he scored 11 in a row.Guys did a great job of screening for him, and he got into the DeMar mode and went to work, Toronto coach Dwane Casey told reporters after the game. Were running some of his familiar plays that we were running for him, giving him some screens and some switches that we wanted him to have, and he did a good job. He carried us in the third quarter when they made a run.He comes into the game third in scoring with 30.5 points per game this season but DeRozan has scored those points in a somewhat unconventional game for the modern NBA. Hes just a 27 percent shooter on 29 attempts from 3-point range but from mid-range, where hes taken 25 percent of his shots this season, hes shooting 46.3 percent. He gets it the old-fashioned way, Casey told The Washington Post. His midrange game is impeccable, and hes probably playing right now with the most confidence hes had in his entire career.DeRozan will have to work for those shots Friday against a Bucks defense, which has held opponents to a respectable 43.3 percent per game from the flloor but is giving up 102. Authentic Adidas NHL Gear. 6 points per game this season.Milwaukees defense has looked especially good down the stretch in its last two games against Golden State and Orlando as the Bucks switched to a smaller lineup that moved Giannis Antetokounmpo -- essentially serving as the Bucks point guard this season -- into the center position.Having Giannis, Jabari (Parker), (Tony) Snell and me out there, were four guys that can switch anything, Mirza Teletovic said. You dont have to be tactical about anything. You just switch it and try to guard your man one-on-one.Coming off a 93-89 victory Monday over Orlando, the Bucks are trying to win consecutive games for the first time in nearly a month and just the second time this season. While Milwaukee has shown improvement on the defensive end of the floor, the Bucks offense is still a work in progress and prone to lengthy scoring droughts at times, forcing them to play from behind. They showed flashes of progress against the Magic, picking up 25 assists on 35 makes while Antetokounmpo recorded his first triple-double off the season and Parker knocked down a career-high five 3-pointers.That just shows what sharing the ball can do, Bucks coach Jason Kidd said. Catch-and-shoot is one of our strengths. We didnt over-dribble and we shared the ball. Thats how we got back in the game. There in that first quarter, we lost a little of our pace and our identity by just trying to do it by ourselves offensively instead of sharing the ball.Sharing the ball is the way were going to have to play if were going to have any success. cheap falcons jerseys cheap ravens jerseys cheap bills jerseys cheap bears jerseys cheap bengals jerseys cheap cowboys jerseys cheap lions jerseys cheap texans jerseys cheap colts jerseys cheap jaguars jerseys cheap chiefs jerseys cheap rams jerseys cheap dolphins jerseys cheap vikings jerseys cheap saints jerseys cheap giants jerseys cheap jets jerseys cheap eagles jerseys cheap steelers jerseys cheap 49ers jerseys ' ' '
