Spanish cuisine follows the Mediterranean style of cooking and is highly influenced by seafood available from the water bodies which surround the country. Some traditional Spanish dishes are
Paella: The typical Valencian Paella has rice, meat, land snails, beans, saffron, and olive oil as the main ingredients. Seafood Paella replaces the meat and snails with seafood; and, Mixed Paella has every ingredient mixed in it.
Pulpo a la Gallega: It is a traditional dish of Galicia and popular all throughout the country. The highlight of the dish is octopus meat, and onion, potatoes, bay leaves, and seasonings are other important ingredients.
