(Sports Network) - It has been a while since Hiroki Kuroda claimed a victory, but the veteran hurler will look to snap his winless streak this afternoon when he takes the hill for the Los Angeles Dodgers in the middle matchup of a three-game series against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The last time the crafty veteran was on the hill, he tossed seven scoreless innings against Houston, but because of a lack of run support he did not factor in the 1-0 decision. Chatwood has never faced the Dodgers, but this will be his seventh road start on the year. In his previous six he has posted a 2-1 ledger with a 3.74 ERA. In Fridays opener, Erick Aybar had three hits, including a two-run homer, to lead the Angels past the Dodgers, 8-3. Thats what the doctors have said and well work off that timeline. If it happens quicker, that would be great." Trestman did not declare Cutler out for Mondays game at Green Bay but said its "highly unlikely" he would play. "You never want to say never," he said. "I would say its highly unlikely that Jay will be playing on Monday night, but I would not want to make it 100 per cent at this point in time." Assuming Cutler sits out as expected, Josh McCown will start. "Doesnt matter what year it is, you never want to get injured," Cutler said. For now, he said hes pushing himself as much as he can. He played some catch during Tuesdays practice but did not move around, Trestman said. The Bears believe theyre in a better position to get by without Cutler than they were in 2011 because of the weapons they now have. Pro Bowl receiver Brandon Marshall wasnt around back then, nor were Alshon Jeffery or tight end Martellus Bennett, and running back Matt Forte missed the final four games that year with a knee injury. McCown will have help around him. As for Cutler? "Whenever they give me the green light, were going to go in there rocking and we cant look back," he said.
